Water quality is an essential part of fish keeping in any form whether it is for fish farming, fishery management or just for a hobby.
One of the best ways to help your fish in times of poor water quality conditions is to add aeration. We have come up with a practical and sensible option for the provision of aeration in your pond or lake.
We looked at the best available commercial aerators on the market whilst designing our own practical recycling option.
The aerator uses an old wheel and tyre as a floatation system, you may well already have one hanging about. The special fully adjustable stainless steels brackets we have designed and manufactured allow you to couple a submersible pump to the underside of the wheel.
The system is adaptable to any wheel nut configuration, as are the special stainless steel spray plate units fitted to the upper side of the wheel which provide the mushrooming water effect as the pump forces water through the centre of the wheel and onto the plate hence increase oxygenation of the water.
The system will fit any wheel and tyre combination and most submersible pumps. This is a brilliant cost effective way of provided your valuable fish stock with well oxygenated water. You only have to buy the bits you haven’t got hanging around the yard.Price
